Successful King´s Trail Ski Race

The first King´s Trail Ski Race Hemavan-Ammarnäs was organised 12 April 2008 and turned out to be a success. 29 teams participated and the 80 km long race in the Vindel Mountains was an outstanding challenge for the skiers. The winning team, Tor Larsson and Joakim Jonsson, managed to do the race in 4 hours and 24 minutes, impressing! The competition was organised by Ammarnäs Sports Association in co-operation with the Swedish Tourist Organisation. The response was very positive; fantastic, challenging, magic, outstanding! In April 2009 next race will be organised. Keep informed about the plans and time on www.if.ammarnas.nu.
