The Powerwalk in Mývatn

For the second time, the Powerwalk "Orkugangan" will take place in Mývatn area 29th of March.

It is a 60 km cross country ski walk, starting from the geothermal power station of Krafla at 10 o´clock in the morning.

The walking area is mainly trough the unique landscape of Mývatn, where you can see marks from earlier volcanic eruptions and

the beautiful lava.

Refreshments and powerdrinks are available in several stations on your way.

Including in the fee, 4000 ISK; refreshments, light meal, access to the Myvatn nature bath and light dinner at Hotel Reynihlid in the evening.
